Camp Wright’s Rocks for the Ages
CHF makes lead gift to Camp Wright’s Shoreline Replenishment Project
The Children’s Home Foundation recently donated $100,000 to begin the process of replenishing the shoreline at Camp Wright, the Episcopal camp located in Stevensville, Maryland. The new shoreline, named “Rocks for the Ages” by CHF, represents the group’s historic commitment to the camp where youth of Maryland’s Eastern Shore enjoy memorable weeks of both day camp and overnight camp. The relationship between CHF and Camp Wright began decades ago, when residents of the original Children’s Home orphanage in Easton were given the opportunity to enjoy summer camp there. https://www.campwright.com
CHF underwrites trip to Passion Conference for second year
In January of 2026, under the leadership of Rev. Kelsey Spiker, five college students from the Diocese of Easton traveled to Texas to attend the Passion Conference, a gathering of 4000+ college students who came from many different areas of the world to lift up the name of Jesus and praise together. Students filled up the Globe Life Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as they explored what it looks like to live for Jesus, to be long-term disciples, to realize their identity, purpose, and calling, and to experience spiritual revival. It was a powerful and life-changing gathering for the students who attended. All of them said they experienced a closeness or connection with God over the 3-day gathering.
This was the third year that the Diocese of Easton sent a group to the Passion Conference; each year was made possible by the generous support of the Children's Home Foundation.
Resolution of Appreciation for the Ministry of the Children’s Home Foundation, adopted by the Convention of the Diocese of Easton, March 2025
Whereas, for 64 years the Children’s Home Foundation (CHF) has provided scholarship assistance to high school graduates from the nine counties of the Eastern Shore totaling almost $6.5 million; and
Whereas, such assistance has included the tuition for Driver’s Education programs which now cost over $500 per student; and
Whereas, the CHF Board of Directors has recently expanded its ministry to include support for our Diocesan youth who participate in a Diocesan supported Mission Trip; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That this 157th Convention of the Diocese of Easton, meeting on March 6-8, 2025, gives thanks for this outstanding ministry and hereby urges all Episcopalians in the Diocese of Easton to support this work with your prayers and financial contributions.

The voting members of Convention are our Bishop(s), our clergy canonically resident in this Diocese, and our lay delegates elected by each parish. CHF is a recognized ministry of the Diocese of Easton.
